Welcome to the Future Light Organization of World Mate, also known as FLOW, the home of more than 287 orphans and poor children in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. FLOW  provides food, shelter, and skills training that the children need to lift themselves out of poverty and move towards a brighter future.

FLOW has progressed from hay stack houses to a well-developed, serene residential and educational campus standing on its grounds today. Our ophanage started at Site Two, one of the largest refugee camps on the Khmer-Thai border built after the Khmer Rouge regime, until we were repatriated to Phnom Penh in 1993 with personal funds and leftover money from a grant given by the Figaro Foundation of France. Thanks to the generous donations from Mr. Haruhisa Handa, the World Mate Foundation, and other donors, FLOW continues to flourish and carry on its mission of raising these under-privileged children with love and compassion, while equipping them with arts, music, dance, sewing, language, and computer skills necessary to survive outside of FLOW. Once they are ready, we send them off into the world where they can have hope and a bright future.

Not long after FLOW was registered as a non-governmental organization, it was awarded the much coveted Action Humanitarian Prize from France in 1994, as well as the Ramon Magsaysay Award (Asia's equivalent of the Nobel Prize) from the Philippines in 1998 for helping orphans in Cambodia.
